After retreating from Austria, Mark and I ventured into deepest darkest devon. The weather was lovely.

Austria

A planned three week alpine trip to the Oetztal Alps in western Austria was also affected by bad weather. After ten days we gave up and came home to sunny England. Cowards.

My first ice climbing trip was cold, dark, expencive, and brilliant! Mostly top roping single pitch routes at Krokan and the local crags, as well as skiing and a wander up Gaustatoppen.
